ECC Global Missions

China – China contains some of the largest unreached people groups in the world today. Our China Mission is designed to help ECC Members take the “next step” in missions work by participating in cross-cultural evangelism, worship, and children’s ministry. Paul Ricketts and Sowers International take teams into China twice every year in the Spring and Fall.  Steve Crane joins the team to train pastors yearly.

We support their work as we help train pastors to share the Gospel in 43 indigenous churches in three states in southern India, Crossroads English School which has grown to over 2,100 students, and the Children’s Village that has both an orphanage for girls and one for boys!

MAF (Mission Aviation Fellowship) – Sharing the love of Jesus Christ through aviation, meeting of real needs, and technology so that isolated people may be physically and spiritually transformed! The 2 primary goals of their ministry are the Demonstration of the Gospel in meeting real needs of people, and the Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ world wide. Our Missions Minister, Mark Post, travelled with MAF to Haiti in Fall 2014 for a partnership building opportunity between MAF and ECC.  MAF has partnerships with over 600 Christian mission organizations world wide.  Their world headquarters is in Nampa, Idaho.

Generations: MAF’s legacy in Ecuador

MAF has served people in remote areas of the Amazon rainforest in Ecuador since 1948. MAF missionary pilot Nate Saint, and missionaries Jim Elliot, Roger Youderian, Pete Fleming, and Ed McCulley were killed by the Waodani tribe in 1956. After their deaths, many in the tribe came to know Christ. The legacy left by these missionaries is still being felt today. Gilbert Nenquimo, a grandson on one of the members of the 1956 spearing party continues the ministry of reaching the Waodani with Christ’s love. MAF and Alas de Soccoro, an MAF affiliate program are with him every step of the way.
