Being the church in the midst of reopening
UPDATE 7/15 | Amid the recent surge in COVID-19 cases in Idaho, we have received many questions about our reopening policies. As our leadership prayerfully navigates these challenging times, we desire your prayers and understanding as we do our best to continue with our mission while protecting those who attend services.
As of today, all our campuses will be open for weekend services. Please see the campuses list above to find the location near you.
At all campuses we are recommending for face masks to be worn.
UPDATE 6/13 | For this weekend (June 13th and 14th) we are reopening all kids ministry and student ministry across all 3 campuses. Please work with us as we staff and clean these areas! We want to provide safe, well staffed, and sanitary environments for your family! We are so excited to see you this weekend at whichever campus you choose to attend. We will also continue streaming online for those who feel more comfortable at home.
UPDATE 6/2 | CENTRAL VALLEY CAMPUS: We have loved being together for the last few weeks. We are still holding live, in-person services on Saturdays at 4:30pm and 6pm, and Sundays at 9am and 10:30am. We are doing everything we can to keep you safe and follow physical distancing guidelines. If you are still nervous about being around large groups, that is completely alright and we'd love for you to join us online or for one of our more open services on Saturday night! If you are a regular attender of our 10:30 Sunday morning service and wouldn't mind switching to a less crowded service, we'd also love to have you worship with us on Saturday night. We can't wait to worship together again this weekend!
UPDATE 5/26 | The following kids programming will be available at the corresponding campus beginning on May 30-31st
Central Valley: Birth - Kindergarten
West Valley: Birth - 2 years old
Surprise Valley: Birth - 2 years old
UPDATE 5/24 | We've had many questions lately about when programming beyond the weekend services will begin to open up at ECC. We've been considering a number of factors in our decisions including the amount of returning volunteers, safety, and government guidelines. Therefore, based on the Governor's reopening guidelines, the Elders of ECC have approved the following schedule of events for ECC.
Limited Weekend Kids ministry: May 30-31st
Grief Share: June 2nd
Students Wednesday Night Programming: June 3rd
Students and Select Adult Sunday School: June 13-14th
Stephens Ministry: June 13th

Beginning May 1st, the state of Idaho is providing the following guidelines for places of worship as set in place by the President and Governor of Idaho: Stage ONE - Places of worship can open if they adhere to strict physical distancing, sanitation protocol, and any CDC guidance.
People who are vulnerable, as well as those who live in households with vulnerable members, are asked to stay home and stream services.
People who are sick, have traveled to hot-spots, or have been potentially exposed to COVID-19 must stay home and stream services.
Sanitation protocols will be followed. Hand sanitizer units will be available at the doors, door handles will be routinely wiped down, auditorium seats will be sprayed with disinfectant after each service, and facilities will be cleaned systematically.
People will be asked to practice social distancing and follow the Governor's and President's recommendations for Houses of Worship. Specifically, we ask that...
- Everyone use hand sanitizer when entering the building.
- People refrain from shaking hands and other forms of personal contact.
- Every other row of seats in the auditorium remain blocked off.
- Two chairs remain vacant between people other than family members.
Additional measures include the following:
- Communion and offering trays will not be passed
- People are encouraged not to gather or congregate in the lobby.
- People are encouraged not to wander, but stay in place within the building.
- Masks are certainly welcome and encouraged.
- There will be no Sunday School or kids classes at this time.
