Ways to Be the church DURING COVID-19
Join in the effort to provide meals to our community in our partnership with Star Food Bank. You can partner with us by purchasing food (PB&J, Juice Boxes, Granola Bars, etc.) and making sack lunches at home, and dropping them off at the ECC Central Valley Campus between 9am and 11am every Thursday morning. This simple act goes along way in making sure people don’t go hungry during this time. Extra food donations are also welcomed and will be used to meet the needs of families in the community who all need a little additional help. Donations can be dropped off at the ECC Central Valley Campus on Monday or Thursday 10am to noon. Click the button below to sign to help.

Provide Protective Masks
Join ECC’s quilters group in providing protective masks for members of our community. Masks are distributed either through ComForCare or directly through ECC. They are provided free of charge to anyone who requests one. As a result, immediate donations of the following are needed:
1) Mask components – 100% cotton material, ½” double fold bias tape, and ¼” or less elastic (black or white).
2) Means to purchase materials – cash or gift cards.
3) People who can sew the masks.
Masks have already been provided to various medical facilities, businesses, and private citizens – more are being requested. Check out KTVB’s coverage of this effort at ECC HERE. You can help be the hands and feet of Jesus in ministering to the health concerns of our community.

Host An Online Group
Being in a Life Group is now more important than ever. By being in a Life Group, members can offer and receive the care, support, and community everyone needs. Of course, we have had to adjust the way we meet in groups. Our team has created multiple online Life Groups for people to join and more groups are always needed. Starting an online Life Group is simple and is the best way to extend the church community during a time when so many are stuck in isolation.
Start an online group this week by contacting our Life Group Pastor, Josh Austin.
Make Some Calls
It is our hope to connect and engage with each individual at ECC in the coming days and weeks to determine how we can be of assistance to them. With over 5000 phone calls to make there is plenty of opportunity to serve by joining the ECC call team. Those on the call team are being asked to reach out to approximately 20 church family members via phone, or email and check on their well-being. Instructions on who to call and what to say will be emailed to you so that connections an be made from the comfort of your own home. Click the button below to join the call team and start making an impact.
With the closing of businesses and people out of work, the financial need is great. We have a couple different ways you can partner with us as we seek to meet the financial needs in our community.
1. Drop off gift cards to local grocery stores. These gift cards will go to families in need and serve to help put food on their table. You can drop gift cards by the church office Monday to Friday from 10am to Noon.
2. Donate to the ECC Benevolence Fund to help families in need. You can mail a check to the church (100 S. Short Rd. Eagle, ID 83616) and be sure to write “Benevolence” on the memo line. You can also give online by clicking the button below and making sure to designate it for the benevolence fund.
